General Information about the Use of Websites
Welcome to the Helo Design websites (hereinafter referred to as “Websites”). The user is encouraged to carefully read these Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) before using the Websites. These Terms apply to all various websites of Helo Design used on different devices.
The Websites may only be used in accordance with the currently valid Terms and applicable laws. These Terms apply to all user actions on the Websites. Specific additional terms may apply to certain functions or parts of the Websites. If any part of the Terms is deemed to contradict mandatory law, mandatory law will apply in that regard, but the remaining Terms will remain in effect.

Intellectual Property Rights
Copyrights
The service provider owns the copyrights to the material published on the Websites, and the information may not be used commercially. This also applies to content published on social media channels. If the copyright belongs partially to a third party, the service provider has usage rights for this material. Quotations of the material are subject to the applicable copyright law and other relevant legislation. A source must always be credited when quoting.
Copyright does not apply to laws and regulations, decisions and statements of public authorities, or other materials referred to in Section 9 of the Copyright Act. All intellectual property rights related to the Websites and content (such as copyrights, registered and unregistered trademark and design rights, domain names, patents, database rights, and trade secrets) and the goodwill value arising from their use belong to the service provider. The user is obligated to retain all copyright and other rights-related notices in all printed or copied content. The service provider does not grant the user any direct or indirect rights to any intellectual property rights.
Rights and Obligations Regarding Website Use
The service provider grants the user a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Websites in accordance with these Terms. Using the Websites does not grant the user any intellectual property rights to any information or content on the Websites.
As part of the Websites, the service provider may offer content developed by the service provider or its licensors. The service provider grants the user a non-exclusive right to use the content for a specified purpose unless otherwise stated in specific terms for the functions of the Websites.
The service provider grants the user a limited right to use the Websites for personal, non-commercial purposes only. The user is allowed to view and read the Websites and content. The user does not have the right to modify, reproduce, distribute, transmit, publicly display, or otherwise publish the content, in whole or in part, unless expressly stated in these Terms or the specific terms for parts of the Websites. Commercial use of the Websites or content is explicitly prohibited. The service provider does not grant the user any other rights to the Websites or content beyond those explicitly mentioned in these Terms.
The user must not interrupt or otherwise disrupt the operation of the Websites or attempt to interfere with other users’ ability to use the Websites in any way (e.g., using viruses or timed disruptive programs).
Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
The service provider is not responsible for any damage caused by the use of information on the Websites, errors or deficiencies on the Websites, or if the websites are unavailable. The service provider is also not responsible for services provided by third parties, even if referenced on the Websites, or for any websites or information linked to or available through links on the Websites. This applies to social media channels as well.
The user understands and accepts that using links on the Websites will take the user away from the Websites, and the user uses the linked websites at their own risk. The user is encouraged to carefully review the terms of use and any additional instructions of the linked websites before starting to use them.
External links to the Websites should directly refer to the main page of the Websites and open in an independent browser window, not within the linking website’s own frame. The appearance, placement, and other features of the link should not harm the reputation of the service provider or the goodwill of its trademarks or create a false impression that the linking party or its services or products are associated with or sponsored by the service provider. The link should also not contain the service provider’s trademarks in any graphic form.
The service provider has the right, at its sole discretion, to prohibit linking to the Websites, even if the above conditions are met.
The service provider strives to ensure that the Websites are available to users continuously and without interruptions. However, the service provider does not provide any guarantees regarding the functionality of the Websites or their content, and they are provided “as is.”
The service provider does not guarantee that the Websites will be available without interruption, on time, or without errors. The service provider is also not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, errors, deficiencies, inaccuracies, or other faults in the information or content transmitted through the Websites, nor for the non-infringement of rights. The Websites and their features may depend on network connections, device compatibility, and supported content formats.
The service provider does not guarantee the security of the Websites or the information transmitted through them, such as newsletters, and is not responsible for them (e.g., ensuring that the Websites or transmitted information never contain viruses or other harmful components). The service provider is also not responsible for information the user sends or receives via the Websites or for any data that fails to be sent or received.
The service provider is not responsible for any direct, indirect, immediate, or consequential damages or damages based on liability (including, but not limited to, loss of business, contracts, profits, or data, or interruption of business) resulting from the use of the Websites or content, the inability to use them, or any other use or non-use of the Websites or content, whether based on contract, infringement, negligence, or other grounds, even if the service provider was notified in advance of the possibility of such damages. In any case, the service provider’s liability is always limited to the extent of mandatory legal responsibility.
Changes to the Terms and Websites
The service provider reserves the right to change these Terms at its discretion. Changes to the Terms become effective when they are notified on the Websites.
The service provider has the right to modify the Websites or their content at any time without prior notice or compensation and to restrict the use of the Websites or their features, suspend, or discontinue offering the Websites, their content, or any part or feature of the Websites entirely. The service provider will take into account any obligations under the electronic communications law that may apply to the provision of digital services.
Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
The use of the Websites and these Terms are governed by Finnish law, excluding its conflict of laws provisions. The parties aim to resolve any disputes primarily through negotiations. If a settlement cannot be reached, disputes will be resolved in the Pirkanmaa District Court in the first instance. A consumer user may also take the dispute to their local district court or the Consumer Disputes Board.
